Located in front of The Côte d’Or Club on Praslin island, approximately 20 minutes by plane from the capital, surrounded by lush vegetation, palm trees and hibiscus trees, gently sloping towards the white coral sand beach. Transfer from Mahe Victoria airport: 20 minute flight, 15 minutes by bus or minibus.

The Relais

A magnificent stone house in which the warmth of the wood and antique furniture dominate. A magical atmosphere amidst the lush vegetation and granite cliffs.


Chauve Souris Relais has just five bedrooms, each one different, furnished with taste and originality. Each room has its own name: Admiral, Creole, Farmer, Pirate and Castaway. The Castaway room is the most daring, situated on smooth rocks, especially suitable for younger couples. All rooms have double beds and a living room area and are equipped with a whirlpool bath, hairdryer, telephone, mini bar, safe, TV with DVD or CD player and USB port, beach towel and bathrobe, ceiling fan, air conditioning, veranda or balcony. Guests of Chauve Souris Relais can take advantage of all the services offered at Cote Club d’Or, children are accepted from 12 years.


At Chauve Souris kitchen is particularly accurate. The staff will cook just for you tasty dishes of Creole and international cuisine, but with ample space to the Italian flavors. Breakfast will be served in the room of your choice, lunch and dinner will be served in the dining room. Full board including drinks at meals (mineral water and coffee).

At the Chauve Souris are no entertainment but guests can participate in daytime activities and excursions offered at Côte d’Or reached on foot via the beach.

Curieuse An island natural park where 250 giant tortoises live in the wild. A short stroll across the island to admire the mangroves. Afterwards, a visit to the “doctor’s house” museum and a swim in the crystal clear waters.

Vallée de Mai Famous forest, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site, the only place in the world where the gigantic “coco de mer” palm tree grows. Over an hour-long walk between the lush vegetation and endemic plants of the Seychelles.

Unspoiled private island located approximately half an hour by boat from the resort. Two beaches: one ideal for snorkelling, where colourful fish and sea turtles can be admired; the other, characterized by pink granite boulders, with ocean waves.

A whole day dedicated to La Digue, also known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, and its famous beaches, Grande Anse and Petit Anse. A visit to the Giant Rock is also part of the excursion – a copra factory and vanilla plantations at Anse Source d’Argent. There will be a possibility for shopping at the harbour.
